“‘The Doves’ (formerly Thrashing Doves) refers to the new-wave pop group from the U.K. who did NOT work with Mr. O’Hagan. ‘Doves’ refers to the current rock outfit, also from the U.K. (Manchester), who worked with Sean O’Hagan.” Thanks, Peter! And remember, kids, it’s “Pixies,” “Eurhythmics,” and “Talking Heads,” not a “the” between them!
