A pleasantly civil Nitpicker by the name of Rich Firestone, of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, writes, “As a snob myself, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that Paul McCartney DID NOT write the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band’s ‘I’m The Urban Spaceman,’” alluding to the sole (U.K.) Top Ten hit by the prankster-goofball English band mentioned on page 13 of the SnobText. “The song,” Firestone explains, “was composed by Neil Innes, who now performs it as his ‘Medley Of Hit.’ McCartney did produce the record, using the pseudonym of ‘Apollo C. Vermouth.’”

Our apologies for the mistake, and extra points to Mr. Firestone for his friendly tone (or should he get demerits for not being smug, as true Snobs are?) and for the bonus Macca info.
